The Office of State’s Attorney
The Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office is responsible for prosecuting all criminal violations of state law that occur throughout the County.
In addition to the primary responsibility of prosecuting criminal offenses, however, I believe the office should actively be involved in community organizations dedicated to preventing crime, reducing recidivism, and supporting victims.
The State’s Attorney’s Office needs to proactively engage in the community in order to improve communication, facilitate transparency, and promote trust with the citizens of Jackson County.
We can work together toward a safer community when prosecutors are fully engaged with the community and when the community has full faith and confidence in them.
